The Sea Nymph is a 32’ Luhrs commissioned in 1969 and completely refurbished bow to stern in 2005-2006.  The Sea Nymph is an impeccably maintained six person fishing vessel equipped with twin diesel 265 hp Perkins engines and has a good balance of fishing deck and enclosed cabin.  The Sea Nymph cruises comfortably at 22 knots allowing us to travel easily to the major fishing grounds.   The Sea Nymph is a United States Coast Guard Documented vessel, 531607.

Safety is priority one  with Captain Bob.  In addition to the regular USCG requirements,  the Sea Nymph is outfitted with:

  • Automatically inflatable life raft
  • EPIRB  (Emergency Position Indicator Radio Beacon) that communicates the boat’s Position to the Coast Guard within five minutes of activation.
  • Satellite phone
  • Cell phone
  • Additional VHS radio
  • Additional bilge pumps
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Radar

Senior Friendly
Although the Sea Nymph is powerful enough to awe the most adventurous, care has been taken to make it senior friendly, as well.  The Sea Nymph is outfitted inside and out with safety bars and comfortable seating, a heated spacious cabin with a mechanical flushable head and running water.  A microwave oven is ready for your use. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available along with snacks.   High rails surround  the fishing deck area providing a safe environment for the angler while reeling in those big beautiful halibut and salmon.  The spacious fishing deck measures 10 x 10.6, one of the largest amongst of  the six-pac fleet and is equipped with 8 customized rod holders.

Tackle:
The Sea Nymph is unique in the charter fleet for its quality downriggers, specialized reels and rods and rod holders for comfortable fishing.  You will be outfitted with the right rod and reel to make your fishing day comfortable and successful.  We carry extra rods and reels to ensure no fishing opportunity is missed due to equipment failure.

Bait:
Captain Bob brings on board the finest bait available and is generous with using the proper bait to catch those big fish you are looking for.  Captain Bob generally uses chunk herring, salmon heads, bellies and octopus for halibut fishing and trolling herring and artificial lures for catching salmon.
